Weekend Recap

Happy Monday, friends! We had a great weekend, here's some of the highlights!

First off, I'd like to say happy anniversary to Travis! We've been married nine years. I know it sounds cliche to say but I really do love him more today than I did nine years ago. We've grown so much as a couple and a family.

On Friday, we had a very calm morning. Thursday night was late and the kids were feeling it. Charlee woke up around six but then fell back asleep until about 9:30. Peyton didn't appear until 10:30.

I took advantage of the quiet to do some training for the upcoming school year.

Around noon, Grandma B came and Charlee decided she wanted to go to Cascade for the weekend with her. She packed a bag and had an impromptu trip to the cabin!

I've gotten a couple pictures from Grandma but I haven't heard much from Charlee. She's having the best time! Puzzles, watering flowers, and doing the dishes. Such a helper!

Peyton and I have enjoyed the one on one time also. This kid loves quality time so we took full advantage this weekend.....

Dad took us out golfing Saturday!

Peyton's favorite place to sleep when he's an only child is next to Travis on the floor so this has been his bed sine Friday!

On Sunday, we went to church after what feels like forever. With traveling, sickness, and being overly busy, we have missed church and it felt so good to be back.

Our kids love Izumi's so we treated Peyton to lunch on Sunday!

I finally talked to this kid on Sunday! He's having so much fun in Tennessee. I don't think he misses home much, just his family. They are enjoying being outside on the lake and didn't take any electronics with them. I love getting all the pictures of him trying new things!

I hope you had a great weekend. We have a very low key week ahead of us and I'm looking forward to it!
