Tennessee

Colson was asked by a friend to go to Tennessee for twelve days. As his mom I wanted him to go for the experience and I wanted to say no because that's a long time for him to be away. Ultimately, we let him go and he had the best time!

I dropped them off at the airport and gave him the biggest hug bye!

They stayed at a lake house and spent everyday hanging out on the lake. The weather was close to 100 degrees and extremely high humidity but when you're in the water, it's not too bad.

Colson learned to knee board and loved it!

It was two weeks of no electronics and these boys had the best time!

They celebrated Fourth of July and sent me the best pictures!

The highlight of the trip for Colson....a private tour of University of Tennessee football stadium.
Colson has said for years that he wants to attend University of Tennessee to play football and they set up a tour so he could check it out. It's a long way from home but he's determined and this just motivated him even more. I love that he got to experience this!

I like the orange and white!

He got to meet Bro McCoy, he's a play for Tennessee.

He had the best time and told us he's going back as soon as possible!

I couldn't wait to see him! I'm so glad he's home.

Hopefully we can take a trip to Knoxville to see a University of Tennessee football game one of these days. And maybe someday I'll be visiting my boy at college! :)
