Happy Monday, friends. I’m sharing some highlights from our weekend. Travis was out of town on a hunting trip having the best time so we filled our weekend with as much Christmas as possible!
He looks like he’s in his element.
I attended the community church choir performance with my mom and MIL. The performance is always great.
I finished this really fun cake for a friend! I love Friends so when she asked if I could make it, I couldn’t say no!
The kids and I ended up meeting some friends for lunch and visiting. It was a great random adventure!
Better late than never…right?! Christmas cards hit the mail over the weekend!
Saturday evening my parents joined us for dinner….
And meeting Santa! The kids did great and asked for exactly what they told me they were going to him for! Yay!
We waited in line for an hour while this girl entertained us in the mirror only to be turned away from Christmas in Color because the lights stopped working. Such a bummer but we got ice cream and headed to find some lights!
Mission accomplished!
Charlee and Colson wanted to spend the night with Nana and Papa but this sweet boy wanted to come home with me. I let him sleep with me and he was out before I made it to bed! I sure loved the snuggles though.
We had the cousins over to do our annual cookie decorating. We get together and do a fun activity instead of buying gifts.
It’s wild and loud but they have so much fun!
The rest of the day was spent snuggling three kids and watching Christmas movies…
We started on the couch.
Moved to bed! #poormiles
And back out to the living room. The kids were so excited to see Peyton I’m the new The Santa Clauses!
We worked on some teacher gifts…
Tried a new recipe….
And I made caramels for the first time!
We had a great weekend but we’re all very thankful that Travis made it home!
I hope you have a wonderful week!
