School starts in four weeks, which seems like a long time until we look at our busy schedule. I know it will be here before we know it. I thought I'd share some of my favorite back to school items.
My favorite back to school find is our picture board! I ordered mine from Etsy several years ago and it’s no longer available but Etsy has so many cute ones! I love looking back and comparing from year to year.
Colson got this backpack last year and it held up so well. He's going to use it again this year. I love the quality and it's smaller so it fits his frame better. Although it is smaller, it still holds all the folders and everything he needs to take back and forth to school.
Peyton is using his backpack again this year, too. I ordered his from Pottery Barn because I loved that it was small and the perfect size. I will say, it doesn't hold all the art and projects that he brings home but it is still in wonderful condition so we aren't buying another one!
The boys received HydroFlasks for Easter a few years ago with these handles and they're still using them!
I put their names on them, using my Cricut and they have a couple stickers that they've added. You can find all kinds of name decals on Etsy...
My favorite way to pack a lunch is in the YumBox! These make it nice so I don't go through 10923485098 baggies through out the year. I also like that it's easy enough for Peyton to open without help. We've used them all summer when heading to the pool or park. I love them and they hold up wonderful!
I also love sticking a note into Colson's lunch box. I'm still going through a box that I found at TJ Maxx, but I was looking on Amazon and found some fun ones with jokes on them. My boys love silly jokes.
My very favorite thing I've found are these amazing labels!! I put them on everything! I use a Sharpie to write on them and then stick them on sweatshirts, coats, hats, backpacks, etc. I can wash the items and have never had an issue with the ink or the sticker coming off.
I can’t imagine the school year without a big calendar to try and is all organized! I picked this one up from Hobby Lobby when we moved in our house four years ago and it’s perfect!
I also have a planner with more detailed plans and reminders. I’ve used Erin Condren planners for years but this year I decided to use a Simplified planner. I’m not working and I really don’t need a fancy planner. I love the size of the Erin Condren planners but I think this one is going to work perfect for my needs!
