It's the last day of March and I'm linking up with Shay and Sheaffer to share a little bit about what's been going on around here!
I took a long break from making cakes but I've made a couple this month.
I made this green velvet cake for St. Patrick's Day and it was so fun to cut into and eat!
A year ago on March 17th, Charlee had her surgery to repair her kidney.
It's hard to believe it's been a year.
Tomorrow is Opening Day for the Rockies!!! I wish I was going to be in Denver watching them play and eating some of these apple pie nachos....soon enough!
All the amazing weather we've had lately. The last couple days have been cold but we're suppose to have good weather again this weekend. The kids all love it because they can be outside!
Baseball! Colson is playing Little League this year so it's very time consuming. I love being at the ballfield and watching him play! I don't mind the coach either :) !
We're currently working on taking away Charlee Jo's binkie and it's not great. She is doing fairly well with it but I dread the day we take it away for sleeping.
For opening day of Little League we needed a silent auction basket so I've been working on putting on together for our team! It's full of great things from local businesses in our community. Hopefully we will have a great turnout for the silent auction on Saturday!
I've been reading Beach Read, which apparently I read in August but I don't remember. Anyways, I'm reading it again. During spring break, Colson and I sat down and read together for an hour each afternoon. I looked forward to it everyday!
I've been listining to Firefly Lane on my audio book and I love it! I look forward to laundry and dishes so I can listen!
I've been wearing my new favorite tennis shoes! I thought they'd be perfect for some upcoming vacations we're going on that will include a lot of walking!
We've had so much cousin time lately. The kids couldn't be happier with all the time together!
GG and Papa Les are coming home next month!!!!
Baseball....and Easter!
Look how little Charlee was last year!
I am so excited to head back to church this weekend! It's been over a year since we've been to in person church. I've been watching online but it's not the same! I can't wait!
I hope you have a great week!

I'm belatedly catching up on my What's Up Wednesday reading. I can't wait to be able to go to baseball games in person again! I love them!!! Sadly, our Blue Jays are having to play in the States right now so it will be awhile until this can happen. I'm loving getting to watch them on TV though.
