Laundry Room

 Last year, around this time, I made the switch to cleaner, plant based products, in my laundry room. I was so skeptical to make the switch but after a full year, I'm so glad I did! If you're thinking about switching items in your home for cleaner products, I suggest starting in your laundry room!

Last year when the pandemic hit, everything was hard to find including laundry soap. I'm a Young Living member so I started ordering my laundry soap from them. I split the bottle of soap into two.

+equally split 1 bottle of Thieves laundry soap between two bottles

+ add 2 tbsp Thieves cleaner

+ fill with water and shake

I also shake in a scent booster to each load. I just made a new batch and added Citrus Fresh!

The next step was to stop using dryer sheets. I ordered some wool dryer balls and I add whatever oils I want to them before throwing them into the dryer. You can also put a safety pin to one of the balls to help with static.

This has been such an easy way to switch to safer products for my family!

Having all the natural light is my favorite! I can do laundry and watch the kids outside.

A friend made me this oil shelf and I love it! When I can see my oils, I use them.

When they are tucked away, I don't always reach for them.
