Friday Favorites

Happy 2020! I can't believe this is the first Friday Favorites post of 2020.

Did you sit down and write down goals for the new year? I always do. I don't think I ever really stick to them, but I always make them. ;) I'm going to share them next week.

This week was weird. Last week was weird. I'm ready for routine again and being able to remember what day of the week it is!

I'm linking up with a few of my favorite bloggers to bring you my first Friday Favorites of 2020...

First up....my new FAVORITE rug! I've been wanting a rug for the living room since we moved in but didn't want to spend a ton of money on one and didn't know what I wanted. Travis mentioned we should get one a couple weeks ago so I started looking and found this one. I love the colors and the price was perfect! I think it adds warmth to our living room.

The boys got gift cards to Build-A-Bear for Christmas and were anxious to go. On Tuesday, I took the kids so they could make their bears. They were so excited and we now have new FAVORITE stuffed animals at home!

My parents also gifted the boys gift cards to Barns and Noble which is my FAVORITE and I'm going to remember this for when I need gifts. Books! Anyways, after we left the mall, we headed to Barns and Noble so the boys could pick out some new books!

Of course we had to stop at our FAVORITE coffee shop!

Spending New Years Eve with my family was my FAVORITE! This year the kids stayed up and we played fun games every hour leading up to the drop. We were all in bed before 10:30 and it was perfect!

I found some fun games on Pinterest and the kids had so much fun!





Peyton and Charlee have moments were they get along and it always revolves around Charlee’s toys, never Peyton’s! Watching their relationship grow is my FAVORITE!

New Year’s Day was spent being very lazy! My FAVORITE thing to do on holidays is watching the parade! I love watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rose Parade.


Charlee Jo also got some new books and this one is my new FAVORITE book! It’s all about kindness, which we can all learn about! 

This boy reading is my FAVORITE! I can’t believe he is reading chapter books. And he loves to read!

Charlee Jo had her follow up appointment with the urologist yesterday. She is such a trooper through all of this. I’ll share all the results later. Finding a solution for her is my favorite because I hate that she’s uncomfortable!

These two sleepy heads are my favorite! Peyton was trying to trick me into let him stay up with Dad. Spoiler alert...it didn’t work! But they both have a really good fake snore.

I hope your first few days of 2020 are amazing! It’s our FAVORITE person’s birthday tomorrow so we have some fun things planned! Happy Friday, friends!
