Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! I'm sharing my favorites from the week and a few of my favorite Nordstrom finds since the sale goes public this morning!

My first favorite of the week...

We were in town running errands so I picked the boys up Happy Meals and they asked to have a picnic in the backyard. They sat together and ate, talked, and laughed for about 45 minutes. 

For the most part they play great together. I was telling Travis it was fun to watch Peyton play and "call the shots" while Colson was in Cascade last week. He played with things that normally, they don't play with together. It is fun to watch their individual personalities shine when they are alone!

It's no secret around here...

Sleeping pictures will always be my favorite! I mean, he looks so sweet!

Linkin Logs are some of Colson's favorite toy to play with!

He doesn't usually play with them while his brother is around because Peyton just destroys things. This week while Peyton has been taking his naps, Colson has been building all the things. It's so fun to watch his creativity! I love that he can play with them for hours without getting bored!

Can you find two kids in all those stuffed animals???

They begged me to let them have a fort and sleep in it one night so I let them because they are only little once and it's summer! I had to go in a few times and remind them they were suppose to be going to sleep and not talking/ laughing!

This girl...

Changes so much everyday! She has really filled out and is getting so strong!!!

Last up this week, here are my top picks from the Nordstrom sale!

I wasn't overly impressed with the sale this year. However, I did find a handful of things that I loved and could see investing in to add to my closet. I was looking with the mindset of our upcoming vacation, which I'll be packing winter clothing, so the sale is at the perfect time!

ONE // Spanx Faux Leather leggings: I see them every fall and winter. They can be styled so cute and give the normal leggings a new look!

TWO // Treasure & Bond Colorblock Crewneck Sweatshirt: I love this for casual days. Most of my days are casual so I could see getting a lot of wear with this!

THREE // BP. Lightweight Sweater: I've seen this styled so cute and it comes in a handful of colors. For only $25, I think it's a fun sweater for the upcoming seasons!

FOUR // The North Face Parka: I love the length, color, and fit of this jacket. I'm not a fan of wearing coats but this one isn't overly heavy and bulky. This is my top pick from the sale!

FIVE // Gibson Cozy Twist Front Pullover: The twist on this top gives it a nice "twist" on a basic top. It dresses it up just enough. I'm going to grab this for sure!

SIX // Vince Camuto Booties: My favorite shoes from the sale. They also come in black.
