Happy Friday! This week has flown by for us. I feel like that every spring break. I think it's especially fast this year because I'm returning to school on Monday too.
This week has been great. It's been very low key with a lot of play dates!
We started the weekend off with a date night. Colson wanted a picture together before we dropped him and his brother off at Nana and Papa's house! Pictures with him are my FAVORITE. I know one day he won't want to take pictures together anymore!
Monday, Grandma Jo and I took the boys to the zoo. We try and go every spring break and Monday was the only day that didn't have rain in the forecast! It has become one of my FAVORITE traditions to do with the boys. Peyton loved seeing the animals this year and had no problem keeping up.
Hallie came over for a few hours one morning and they boys had the best time playing!
Colson had a friend over for a sleepover and watching friendships form and grow is my FAVORITE! I love that their dads were friends growing up and now they are friends.
One of Peyton’s FAVORITE things to do is pretend he is asleep. He fake snores and tries his best to keep his eyes closed. It’s super cute, and normally ends in giggles!
Yesterday was opening day of baseball and we watched the Rockies play in Florida from our living room. Watching baseball is a FAVORITE in our house, although we prefer to watch it sitting in a ballpark!
One thing I was really worried about when we combined the boys into one room was how naptime was going to work. Peyton still needs a nap and Colson is past them. It hasn’t been an issue since the boys have been going to the babysitters while I’m student teaching. However, this week I asked Peyton if he wanted to nap in Dad’s spot and he has hardly put up a fight. Since Dad is his FAVORITE, it’s only fitting! And sleeping pictures will always be my FAVORITE!
I hope everyone had a great week!
