Travis and I love to travel together and enjoy our trips to Denver. We'd love to go once a year but having a baby and life tend to get in the way. Outside of Denver, we traveled to Hawaii together. The first time we ever traveled together was to elope. We figured out that we loved it!
I've been thinking a lot recently about some of the places that I would love to visit.
New York
There is so much history on the east coast. I was in New York in high school for a quick 12 hours. I've wanted to go back ever since. I'd love to see a Broadway show, visit the Today show, the statue of liberty, the empire state building, etc. I'd love to be a typical tourist and see it all!
Boston
Although I'm a Colorado Rockies fan, I've always wanted to see a game played in Fenway. I'd love to tour the park and watch the Rockies win at Fenway. Boston is filled with so much history and I'd love to explore and learn about the colonial state.
Washington D.C.
Hello history! Travis and I both enjoy learning about the history of our country. What better place than the capital!? I was in DC for a very short time and missed out on the Anne Frank museum and so many others that I would love to see. I'd love to see the white house at Christmas time and tour it. I think it would be fun to wait until the boys are older so they could learn more about the history of our country as well.
Texas
I pretty much just want to visit Waco and go to Magnolia! Joanna Gaines has made a tourist town out of Waco and I'd love to stay at the Magnolia House and visit Magnolia, eat at the food trucks, and wait all day for a table at Magnolia Table!
Alcatraz
This has been on Travis's list and after reading about it, I'd love to visit!
Alaskan Cruise
I went to Alaska 10 years ago and it was great but I'd love to go on an Alaskan cruise. I've heard great things about them. You can see so much more than I was able to see. I have no desire to go on any other cruise but I think because you can see land, it would be fine!
England
It might be because of all the Royal wedding talk but I'd love to visit England. Again, it's full of so much history. One of my favorite bloggers, Shay, has written so many posts about England.
Austraila
My sister-in-law and her family lives in Australia so I'd love to go visit. The seasons are opposite so it's winter during our summer. It would be fun to visit the place they call home.
Germany
If you can't tell by now, I love places with a lot of history! I have family that lives in Germany and my parents visited last year. They had the best time and their pictures are amazing. I'd love to see it for myself and the visit with family would be wonderful also!
Well, these aren't the only places that I'd love to visit but they are at the top of my list!
Where is your favorite place to vacation???
