Happy Friday, friends! We have a lot of favorites to share this week. I'm linking up with Andrea, Narci, and Erika to share our favorite.
one. this weather.
We spent all of Monday evening outside playing with the boys.
Peyton discovered the gas pump and won't stop playing with it.
It's in his blood, I tell ya!
This view is my favorite and I can't wait to add grass to it!
two. angel food cake.
Tuesday, I tried out a new recipe for angel food cake. It was so good! It had a roasted strawberry sauce on top. On of my favorite dessert recipes I've tried!
three. snuggles.
Between teething, getting sick, and scooter crashes, I'm getting a lot of snuggles this week, which will always be a favorite. Peyton isn't one to snuggle so I'm loving them.
Mom snuggles can cure any scooter crash!
four. quiet time.
Spending my mornings with Jesus is my favorite way to start the day! My bible study is wrapping up our study and it's been so good!
five. easter eggs.
Colson and I tried a new technique to color Easter eggs this week. It was a fun activity and I'm going to share what we did next week!
Also, it was VERY messy!
six. afternoon coffee.
I've been drinking blonde roast coffee with some half & half. I make it at home and it's yummy! I just buy the Starbucks blonde roast at the grocery store so I don't have to wait for it to brew.
seven. spring decorations.
I've mentioned before that I love having spring decorations up in the house! I'm just finally getting around to sharing a few pictures.
This bunny is one of my favorites! I found him at TJ Maxx a few years ago and love him so much!
Look how sweet this picture is! Coloring Easter eggs THREE years ago!
The kitchen is very simple!
I had some helpers with my chalkboard. I need to fix it but I love encouraging Colson to use his imagination! Allowing him to help me with the chalkboard, keeps him from coloring on other walls!
And, the sweet little egg hunter that he made for me!
eight. cake pops.
At Starbucks the other day, I found a parrot cake pop and surprised this boy when he got home from preschool! This boy loves cake pops!!!
nine. Colson's art.
This is my very favorite from the week. Colson drew this picture for his Dad. How sweet!?
Happy Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned. We will be staying home and trying to get over the sickness that hit our house!
