I know that this month is going to fly. We're already through the first weekend in December. We have had a busy but good past week. Two birthdays were celebrated, we crossed off some of our December bucket list, and we've enjoyed all the twinkle lights throughout our house.
Birthday Celebrations.
My mother-in-laws birthday is the day before mine. She loves angel food cake so I attempted to make one from scratch. As you can see...it didn't turn out. Last minute, I made one from a box and it was so good. I may never attempt one from scratch again.
My birthday started at 1am with Peyton. I was up with him for most of the night so my sweet husband delivered a coffee to me!
I celebrated with a friend with drinks! It was fun to just catch up on life.
And this boy was so sweet to me!
My husband made another amazing delivery! I love flowers and these are beautiful!
So lucky to turn 28 surrounded by my family.
Brothers.
Colson is the sweetest big brother. He loves Peyton so much. Lately, they have been holding hands in the car. I seriously love watching these two together!
We played in Peyton's room one evening and these two always want what the other has...
Our weekend.
Saturday morning started with some basketball. Colson has improved so much since he started. We have two weeks left but he's really enjoyed it.
This boy loves watching too!
Two babes in my lap! Hallie kept trying to run onto the court but we cheered loudly for Colson!
Next stop...Santa! The boys did great. No tears were shed and we got a great picture!
Colson proceeded to ask Santa for a real snowmobile like Dad's. Santa went along with it despite me shaking my head no. Sorry Colson, there won't be a snowmobile under the tree this year!
I had a few errands to run after we left Santa. Colson was fascinated with the mirror in the elevator.
And we ended our busy day with snuggles. Along with a dinosaur hand puppet that he found in the Christmas stash at my parent's!
Sunday was extremely slow around here. Travis got up with the boys and let me sleep in. Major points for him!! And then I went out with some girlfriends to The Price Is Right!
Yes, you read that right! We had so much fun. My cheeks hurt from laughing.
It is cold here but we haven't seen snow yet. I'm ready. If it is going to be this could, at least bring the snow with it! Besides, it makes the twinkle lights that much more magical!
I hope you all had a great weekend, happy Monday!
