I'm just going to warn you that if you don't want to look at 516198 baby pictures, you can skip this post. Tomorrow will be a week since Peyton entered our world and our life has been consumed with learning how to be parents to two boys, a big brother, surviving on little sleep, and Colson turning 4!
While Mom and Dad were at the hospital, Colson spent a couple nights with Austin and then a night with Nana and Papa. While he was there, he got to help Nana put together a baby bouncer with his own tools. Such a big helper!
We came home from the hospital Sunday afternoon.
Being home felt so nice!!!
Monday we celebrated Colson turning 4!
He's been doing such a great job taking care of his new puppy!
My favorite is when he snuggles up on me and I can smell and kiss his baby head a million times!
We survived our first sponge bath at home. And by survive, I mean it. Peed on mom, pooped on dad, cried through 1/2 of it. We laughed really hard through it all. Meanwhile, Colson was in the bathtub and played through it all.
A little tiny Peyton burrito!
We survived our first doctor's appointment! Little man did so good!
I spent yesterday afternoon in front of the fire, snuggling a baby, and drinking coffee!
Dad gave Colson a little haircut. This isn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last!
In love...
Such a great big brother!
We are trying to stay awake longer during the day so we can sleep at night so we had tummy time!
I love that I get to be a mom to these two boys!
Well, that is what our week has looked like. So far, I think we are figuring this out. Colson is adapting so good. He loves being a big brother, although, he has his moments.
Today was the first day that I was home with both boys and so far, no complaints!
They are both taking a nap at the same time.....hopefully that continues!
Happy Thursday!
