The fun has been had, memories have been made, and I'm back at work. I hate when really good weekends have to come to an end. However, I can remember the last time I didn't have a really good weekend!
Friday night my great aunts from Montana came into town to pick up some fruit. I know what you may be thinking...all that way for fruit? But they can't get fresh fruit there so the drive is worth it. We went to my parent's house for dinner to see them. Somehow I didn't take one picture!
Saturday morning I got up with Colson who slept in an extra hour! He's starting to entertain himself just a bit so I put a few toys in front of him and jumped in the shower to get ready. When I got out, I went around the corner and found him playing with his aunt and uncle! He then joined them for a movie session while I finished getting ready.
I headed to work at Banducci's and Colson headed to Cabela's with his aunt and uncle. I think it's safe to say that he already loves that store!
They came home with a sweet new coat for me....okay, I'm dreaming about that part! It's Emily's but I'm trying to convince my brother why I need one!
I picked up a pizza and then headed to my parents for s'mores. They have a fire pit in their backyard. Defiantly my favorite part about Saturday. Relaxing, by the fire, with my favorite!
Sunday morning we have family pictures. Colson had a MASSIVE blow-out so while everyone was cleaning up and getting ready themselves, Colson got to relax with his great grandpa.
Pictures are hard with a baby....even harder with two! But we have some good ones! I must say, I love these two!
And when he woke up....more pictures for this little fella! He did a great job. We took pictures until it was time for his afternoon nap. But we captured some keepers!
During his afternoon nap I made dinner and got it ready so I could toss it in the oven instead of trying to make it while entertaining Colson. I also got all my laundry done and most of my cleaning. We had dinner, played, and then Colson crashed! He has such a busy weekend that he was asleep by 7:45 and slept until 6:30!!!
After Colson fell asleep last night I a solid hour or more making baby food. I think it's safe to say that I am set for about a month!
Excited to see what this week will bring now and overly looking forward to Labor Day Weekend! Can't wait to get out of town!
