A Few Changes Here & There

Since I will be off for six weeks when Colson arrives I want to make sure I will be super comfortable in the house. I know there will be visitors and lots of lounging so I had some work cut out for me. I want to get everything super cleaned and organized so I think it's safe to say that the nesting stage has set it! My mom helped me move EVERYTHING in our family room and living room to clean. We rearranged the furniture in both rooms making it more comfortable and convenient.

The family room consisted of the big sectional, which is super comfy, miss-matched coffee tables and side tables, and that was about it. Now, we have matching coffee table and end tables, the comfy sectional and a tv so we can lounge and watch movies in here. I also added some storage with the shelves for movies. This space is so much better and can be used!

The first picture is from the laundry room door coming in and the second picture is from the dining room door. Just keep in mind that I live with a hunter! There are "stuffed" animals EVERYWHERE!

The living room consisted of a couch that isn't too comfy, a matching chair, and a side table. No one ever sat in here to watch movies because it isn't a "comfy" space and the sectional in the family room is 10X's better! So we did some moving around. Now, we have the not so comfy couch, matching chair, a new leather recliner that I purchased from a friend, and a wicker chair from the guest room. This room serves it's purpose so much better. When people come over and we are all chatting we tend to gather here. Before there was limited seating so added some more seats and we are set! Already these changes have made a huge difference. And to have these too rooms is amazing!

So this was taken from the top of the stairs so the anger is weird, but you get the idea. Lots of seating for company!
